Oyaji no Hamburg is a take-out restaurant specializing in premium hamburg steaks, located at the agricultural processing facility of the roadside station Sashiba no Sato Ichikai in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. It originated from Moka Yamiichi, a renowned meat restaurant in Moka City, which was known for its handmade hamburg steaks.
The founder, Yoshiharu Tsurumi, previously managed multiple franchises including convenience stores, Western-style restaurants, yakiniku chains, and other businesses, before focusing solely on Moka Yamiichi. The restaurant became the first in Tochigi Prefecture to be officially certified as a Matsusaka Beef Authorized Retailer and created unique offerings such as the “7-Cut Matsusaka Beef Platter,” later expanded to 11 and 18 cuts. The restaurant also developed original desserts using Mashiko natural honey, offering a combination of Matsusaka beef hamburg steaks for lunch and yakiniku dishes for dinner until its closure during the COVID-19 pandemic.
